Collaborative Outcomes Congress: Slides, graphic recordings, videos, and photos posted!

The BC Enhanced Recovery Collaborative held its official closing event on January 12, 2016 in Vancouver. It was a day of celebration and learning, a day to discuss accomplishments and the challenges that remained. All 10 Collaborative teams presented their experience and results from the past 13 months of working together on increasing capacity in Enhanced Recovery in BC and improving outcomes for their elective colorectal surgery patients. The results of the Collaborative as a whole – both qualitative and quantitative – were also presented.

We were very fortunate to have as our guest keynote speakers Dr. Henrik Kehlet from Denmark and Tracy Wasylak from Alberta. Both shared their critical perspectives and drew our attention back to the evidence, while urging us to look forward at systemic transformation and impact.

All presentations, graphic recordings, videos, and photos can be found here or follow the Outcomes Congress & Learning Sessions tab above.

Thank you to everyone who attended; it was an inspiring day!
